In the last decade, many new advances have been made in prevention, early detection and treatment of breast cancer. With the identification of breast cancer risk factors and genomic risk factors, we can improve the ability to assess breast cancer risk and personalize risk reducing strategies and promote healthy behaviors. Dr. Pruthi will share insights in new research with common genetic variations and individualized breast cancer risk prediction to ultimately prevent and reduce the incidence of breast cancer.
