Reflections on Mayo Clinic and the Military
Presented by Mark A. Warner, M.D., Consultant in Anesthesiology
Dr. Warner will discuss Mayo and the Military, with a focus on Dr. Louis Wilson—arguably one of Mayo Clinic’s most important military figures. Although Dr. Wilson’s contributions are sometimes underrecognized, his service on behalf of Mayo Clinic during World War I, particularly in the Argonne region, and in the years that followed had a profound and lasting impact.
