Volunteer Opportunity – ZVMS Street Medicine Eye Care Clinic

Description

The Zumbro Valley Medical Society will host a free Eye Care Clinic on Saturday, December 6, from 12:30–3:30 p.m. at Christ United Methodist Church (400 5th Ave SW, Rochester). The clinic provides free eye exams, optical care, and glasses for individuals in need.

Volunteers are sought to assist at various stations alongside medical students and healthcare professionals, including patient check-in, visual assessments, glasses distribution, and support services.

Shifts:

• 11:45 AM – 2:15 PM
• 2:00 PM – 4:30 PM
  (Overlap allows for smooth volunteer handoff.)

Approximately 3–5 volunteers per shift are needed. No specialized training is needed!
