Join Heather Stecklein, Head of Archives for Mayo Clinic, to learn about the wide array of objects that Mayo Clinic Archivists collect from individuals, units, and organizations. Heather will demonstrate the special processes archivists use to ensure that records with enduring value from Mayo’s founding to today are maintained and made accessible to the Mayo community and external researchers. Heather’s presentation will include a discussion of what the archives would like to collect from current and recent Mayo employees — to ensure that our successors have a clear picture of what we’ve decided, what we’ve accomplished, and how we hoped to see Mayo continue to thrive and grow.
